What is Qimen Dunjia

Qimen Dunjia is ancient and was long used in strategy. Legend holds that the Yellow Emperor defeated Chiyou with this art; it later guided emperors and commanders.

It rests on the Nine Palaces, the Eight Trigrams, Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches — a model of cosmos, space, time, climate, people and things. It is not mere fortune-telling. It reads how energy sits in a given moment, so you can see auspicious and inauspicious tides, choose timing, and act with more wisdom.
